Craig began his career in England as a carpenter and joiner’s apprentice.  On completing an apprenticeship, he started out in business in 1992. Craig’s building experience has included working on the construction of high rise building, commercial buildings, renovation’s to penthouses, new built houses, residential alterations, additions and extensions, large heritage renovations, maintenance to council buildings, leaky building repairs and rebuilds. Craig has also performed many office alterations and shop-fit-outs for companies like B & Q, Wellmans, In-toto kitchens, Karisma Interiors, Studio Italia, Polyform, Varrena Kitchens, Mielle, and Esat showrooms, while also providing project and installation management and building services to the above business for their clients.

Over the years Craig has gained experience working as a commercial and residential building contractor, and foreman / supervisor for projects in England and Europe. Craig migrated to New Zealand in 2003 and spent almost a decade as a building contractor and certified builder. In 2010, Craig was one of the first builders to respond to the earthquake in Christchurch. In 2013, Craig graduated with a Masters in Construction Management at AUT University before moving to the Manawatu.
